The truth behind the truth!

What is truth? Maybe the truth about truth is there is no Truth, just perception or consciousness. Just as we can't taste sound or hear yellow or smell hard, truth is just perceptual and subjective to the mode of perception. Yellow is true to the eyes because they can see it, yet not true for the ears because they can't hear it. And yet both are valid perceptual avenues.

Reality is the illusion Thought/Perception/Consciousness is what's real. In this world there are two kinds of truths: real truth and notions that you have convinced yourself are truth. However as I have always observed, truth is a very subjective phenomenon. Subject to your personal viewpoint or point of reference, which is determined by your perception or paradigm  So debating about what is true and what is not, is like trying to discredit knowledge with knowledge (e.g. science and religion). The truth is that there is no absolute truth (well not in human perspective) because our perceptions are always evolving from one idea to the next with no consideration of whether or not the idea is “false” or “true”. In order to understand this intangible truth of the non absolution of truth in our environment, we must learn to question our limiting assumptions about things, and evolve them with the new found understanding.

As Barry Siskind mentioned in his book Bumblebees Cant Fly, "If we do not challenge the myths that we encounter, we will reinforce them. That’s how myths get incorporated into the fabric of your daily life." The mind does n’t distinguish between a lie and truth... They are all the same stuff - ideas. “Tell a lie often enough and it becomes the truth.” another example of truth not being absolute but dependent upon the perception of the observer is in the justice system. In court, evidence is produced in order to justify or defend the accused. Both lawyers observe the same evidence yet due to their own intentions, they see it differently from each other. Thus believing something just because someone or many are convinced it is "true" is never a good reason to believe it. for truth is not absolute (its really important to really get this idea in our heads.)

Abraham (from Abraham-Hicks) have said “A belief is only a thought you keep thinking”... And once you begin to understand that and start to see the real truth behind this statement, then you can begin to understand why some things appear true for you and seems to be only fantasy for others. And also as to why it is that, people find it easy to go along with what most believe. It is not because it’s true that they believe it, it is because they believe it (keep thinking it) that it is true.

Therefore as one goes through their day to day experience, pay attention to how you label things as true and allow yourself to really ask whether is it true or just your own made up thought about it. Truth is a subjective reality. Objective (ultimate) reality takes into account that all that is perceived and given attention to are true. That is the absolute truth..

THE TRUTH ABOUT POSITIVE THINKING

Positive thinking doesn’t work for most people because of one simple truth and that is – Thinking is a skill. And most people haven’t mastered The Art of Thinking. Just because you can inhale air in an out of your lungs doesn’t necessarily mean you know how to breath effectively, remember how as a  kid when the doctor instructed “breathe in” and you would actually make a whizzing sound when in haling because you wanted to indicated that they are breathing, because you clearly knew there was more to it.  So you see, it actually is a skill. I was inspired to write this article tone because of a post someone had forwarded to me. It said… “…Positive thinking is offered up in the U.S. as a cure for cancer, a path to untold riches, and a sure-fire way to engineer your own success. Indeed believing that success depends upon one’s attitude is far preferable to Americans than recognizing that their success is the outcome of the tilted scales of race, class, and gender. As Eh...

SEASONS OF LIFE

I am at the airport waiting to board a flight going to Mozambique and i had a sudden burst of inspiration.  I believe that for us to work and livean inspiring Life we ought to be in constant awareness of inspiring insight or information. and so as I am about to board an airplane, I want to share with you insights about the seasons. The insight I wish to share comes from Jim Rohn which is about the Four Seasons Of Life (he wrote a book on this subject), and here is the wisdom I got from him. He says: “Life and Business are like the changing seasons” , fairly obvious but also easily forgotten because of its simple nature. But its true, Life is like the changing seasons (the business cycle in economics or entrepreneurship as it is often referred to). After fall comes winter. After winter comes spring. And after spring comes summer. All with regularity and pray tell how often. Is this a reliable way to look a life and business? After night comes day. When the sun goes down a...

Generation eXcellence

I was reading some wonderful notes from Robin Sharma's Little Black Book of Stunning Success ( http://www.robinsharma.com/leadership-best ) and a thought crossed my mind: have we settled for mediocrity in our society?  Have we  allowed ourselves to tolerate mediocrity in our lives, because the truth is we interact with the aspects of the world which match our own standards. We see the world not as it is but as we are . How often do we offer less than our best to the quality of relationships with ourselves and things.? Are we allowing the quality of our lives be compromised due to what everybody else is doing? This is even evident  to how we  treat nature. The care with which we have for our natural environment is something of grave concern, and many defend this mediocre behaviour with "everybody else is doing it." and the worst one yet, "We are creating jobs for others"  Have we accepted me...
