I recently had an interesting discussion with a friend. Both of us are in Mozambique for some commissioning work at a mine site, and on our way to the market after knocking off for the day, we started having a random conversation about Mozambique and South Africa. The talk was started when we observed on the side of the road some juveniles ploughing the soil. I had found it quite odd that there were guards, in  khaki  shirts and pants, watching over this “workers”, and my colleague quickly pointed out that they were actually inmates. He then remarked that it is not like in South Africa where inmates are treated like royalty as they get free food, a decent shelter and free education, to name just a few of the perks. He then said he doesn’t like South Africa because of the crime. I have met enlightened people from all walks of life. I've met an enlightened upcoming rap artists. I've met very enlighten Christian people, I've met others who are Rastafarian, traditional healers, and scientists, and even Hip-hop artists. There is all kinds of enlightenment from all different walks of life. All enlightened beings posses one distinct characteristic and that is, they are so well in tune of the awareness that all things are one, and that no one mode of philosophy or theological translation of what divinity is, is better than the other. We love pushing against things. We push against the perceived bad that we think is threatening our well being. What is truth? Maybe the truth about truth is there is no Truth, just perception or consciousness. Just as we can't taste sound or hear yellow or smell hard, truth is just perceptual and subjective to the mode of perception. Yellow is true to the eyes because they can see it, yet not true for the ears because they can't hear it. And yet both are valid perceptual avenues. Is there ever a time where its reasonable to have faith? Like really. When is it reasonable to have faith? Because if you think about it, whenever its reasonable to have faith it is no longer faith but just rationalisation.. When you have reasons to have faith its just that, reasons. It is my truest understanding and belief that this universe is a universe of summoning. It is a plane of constant expansion and becoming. We are living on the edge of creation as we move thoughts forward to fuller expression.This summoning is brought through by the asking, the wondering   and exploration of this time-space reality a nd from which springs forth the answering, and new understandings, which will still brings in more asking.
