LIFE BEGINS ONCE YOU'VE STOPPED DENYING WHO YOU ARE

Your life will begin once you've stopped denying yourself. Life will begin living up to your expectations on the day you have stopped denying yourself. Of course this will greatly depend on the level of awareness you are in. These words will strike the core of those who are seeking an Awakening , and they will go above the heads of those who are still enjoying the slumber and illusion of their reality. Your life will begin once you have stopped denying who you are . This can usually start by accepting those things that you were taught to deny. By accepting who you are on the base level. If you want your life to begin, begin right now to accept yourself, begin to accept yourself to be intelligent even though the schooling system may have taught you to think of yourself of a lesser capability. Begin to accept yourself as worthy, even though your traditions have at times scared you into denying this truth. Begin to accept yourself as gay even though your society has cursed yo

UNSCIENTIFIC SCIENCE??

Here's something I would like you to think about: It is my own assumption or theory that actually there are three types of sciences that have to do with the contents of our being. We are three part beings consisting of mind body and spirit. Our world is divided into three parts, here, there and there space in between. The first form of science has to do with our physical plane and we've cleverly called it "Physical Science". This ranges from medicinal to astronomy. Whether breaking up an atom or repairing nerve connections in the human system, they all have to do with the physicality of our being. The second has to do with the science of the mind, and is best known as psychology. It has to with the mental state of our being. Which focuses on thoughts, or attitude. And the last one and probably the most ignored, the science of the heart or spirit, this is known as metaphysics, or Holistic science. This is what “true” physicists normally refer to as &quo

Have Unwanted Foods in Your Plate?

Here's a question: when you go to your favourite restaurant outlet, and you look at something you'd like to eat, as you're sifting through the menu, you see things that both interest you and others which just make you lose your appetite. Do you then call the manager or chef and order that they remove from the menu those things you don't find tasteful to you, or do you just simply order what you want and get on with enjoying your meal? Then why can't you apply the same principle when dealing with things of a larger scale. Why is there are need to fight against those things that we deem wrong, or distasteful? Granted that there are things in this world that you like to see and things that you don't like to see, but instead of focusing upon the things that you prefer and perpetuate those many of you turn around and look at those things that you don't like and try to force them out. And in doing so then your life just gets focused and filled with those t

Consciousness is the name of the game

Often p eople will  say, "I don't believe such and such is true" or, "I can't see how this is real or how this can happen."  Or, “I don't think what you're saying is true."  Some would say “I don't believe in reincarnation,” or “I don't believe in the afterlife,” or “I don't believe that there is a God and that She loves unconditionally. I believe that life is like this and that's just it." And we say to you “that is good, that is beautiful. You do not have to believe what we say as truth, for it is never our intention to alter your beliefs.”  In all of this, we say to you, your reality can only extend so far as you conceive it . Thus when we say you are the creator of your reality, we literally mean that; in that you get to choose and thus create what you believe. You get to choose what to believe; from which god to praise, philosophy to follow, doctrine to embrace, to which car to drive. You do it all . One thin

THE POWERS OF THE MIND ARE THE POWERS OF THE MAN

The powers of the mind are the powers of the man . And building the powers of the mind is largely an after school job. It is spare time job. This is why developing the powers of the mind are not necessarily dependent on a formal education. A good liberal education is a best start of you are lucky enough to get one. A good base of English, world history and world literature, and maths are fundamental in developing the really powers of the mind, the very subjects so many young people dread and work so hard to avoid. The powers of the mind are the powers of the man. ~ Scott Buchanan Once in a talk Buchanan delivered at Saint John’s College he asked, “ How are you doing? Do you believe in and trust your intellect, that innate power that never sleeps? You've lived a lot; you've fallen into the hands of scholars, and into the grooves of practice. You've suffered the winds of doctrine and have gotten lost in the jungle of ideologies. A lot of you have been stormed by scientific m

THE POWER OF DISCIPLINE

Self discipline . The only trait that separates successful and powerful people from those who aren't. Not some magic formula, or luck from the heavens. Self discipline . Self governance.  I felt  it is such an important topic to talk about that t hought  I share some of  the key notes or wisdom I've gathered on this matter. So here we go. “The price of discipline is greater than the pain of regret” ~ Robin Sharma  How often have you had the experience of regretting doing something or not doing it solely because of lack of self control or were not self motivated enough to actually carry out? Yeah i have been there and now and again do trod that trail. I am working on it just as i suggest you do believe me. Another thing that i think it is important to remember is that, "When you constantly practise self governance there will be no hurdle too high to overcome. No challenge too tough to surmount. And no crisis too hot to cool down. Self discipline will provide you with the

THE ROAD TO UPINGTON

Recently I was on a road trip to Upington, a town in Northern Cape in South Africa, to a friend's engagement party. Upington is known for being one of the hottest places in the country. And as hot as it was, and as far and as long as the drive was, I decided to just take the task that was before me with the eyes of curiosity and wonder of what lies out on the stretch of road. I always love going on adventures and travelling to places I've never been (a very effective way to keep life always interesting and fresh).  A full nine hour minibus drive I finally reached my destination. First time here, and I arrived at the “wee” hours of the morning, 4 a.m. to meet my ever-so-special-and-crazy friend whom I have never met but have been friends for six years (he was counting) via Facebook alone. There was no catching up to be made either than on my sleep, then by seven in the morning we hit the ground strutting. I didn’t plan to do anything except eat and watch to loving people get eng

MISTY VALLEY

After the weekend on the road to Upington and back,  Monday morning I was off again with my supervisor  to the mountains of  Mpumalanga (meaning "where the sun rises"). Bags were packed and I had made reservation for us to a lodge called Misty Valley Lodge ( I need to mention the name because its an important bit of information to remember.) So the trip was for work purposes. I was heading to the mines to do some process work auditing (if you didn't know, i am an engineer also) My drive from Johannesburg to Mpumalang was sunny, easy and not as long as that one I had taken to go to Upington . A two and a half hour drive and i was near may destination, then the most  bizarre  thing happened. The weather, out of nowhere shifted from bright and sunny to full blown Misty. Yep,  that's  it! I had entered the vicinity leading to MISTY VALLEY LODGE!! Breath taken by the sudden change and the revelation of why its called misty valley (there was nothing on the brochure about

“The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”

“Be the change you want to see in the world.” ~ Gandhi.  How often have you had the thought of changing the world? If you are anything like me, I have it more often than I have a glass of warm milk with cookies (okay that’s wacky...anyway). Or maybe it is something more like,” how can one act make a difference?” but all to often for many people another thought creeps in, “Who am I? I am just a small drop in the ocean.” (see the picture on the left) Or, “It takes a really special, gifted, and powerful person to even think of changing the world. And “ I am neither special nor gifted, let alone powerful.” If you think you are too small to make a difference, try going to sleep with the mosquito in the room" ~ Dalai Lama Like me, you’ve probably have looked at legendary people who are making it and thought, “what is it that they have that I don’t or lack.” And the answer is – they have the conviction that they can make a difference; that they are an immense and integral part

What kind of world do you want to live in?

What kind of world do you want to live in? Think about that question for a good full minute.... okay  15 seconds. Really, what kind of world do you want to live in? I'm certain that you have an idea or ideas of what you would prefer it to be like. Maybe you would like a world where love reigns supreme? What about a world with no fear? Or could it be a world where you're loved unconditionally and abundantly and everyone is aware of how connected to each other they really are. What is it?   Think about this question because it is really important. "What kind of a world would I like to live in!?" For your answer determines what shape and state the world will assume . You may not believe this. Or like many people, you may not think you have such a power or influence.   Do you know people  who, no matter how the world may look to the many,  seem to live in their own make up and thus had influence the mass into their world. Do you know people who, no matter how ba

Playing Movies ~ Bob Proctor

Have you ever wondered how children can sit through replay after replay of their favorite Lion King or Little Mermaid video? It amazes me that they'll voluntarily watch the same show every day without a single complaint or request for something new. What's more amazing, though, is that adults do the very same thing with their days. The majority of men and women play "movies" in their heads again and again, relentlessly focusing on the review of past events, most of which are unpleasant and disturbing experiences that have come their way. If they're actually able to stop their contemplation of past events, they allow impressions of their current surroundings and results to govern their lives. And, once in a while for variety's sake, they'll contemplate the future by either worrying about it, or daydreaming and wishing that something better might come along. And then they wonder why bad things keep happening to them, or why they never rise above the issues a

Business Junkie 101: Let It Be You ~ Jim Rohn

"The decision about what you will become is made each day and every day. Each day someone is making the decision to better him or herself. Let that person be you!"   Business Junkie 101: Let It Be You ~ Jim Rohn :

Let It Be You ~ Jim Rohn

Each and every day, there are people all around the country and world who are living their dreams. Millionaires are made every day. Families are experiencing tremendous relationships. People are becoming more and more healthy. Lifelong learners are growing intellectually and improving their chances for success. The fact is that living the life of your dreams is possible. People prove that every day. Someone somewhere is going to get rich, get healthy and improve their life. My recommendation is this: Let it be you! Have you ever wanted to make more money? Have you ever looked at someone who has money and wished that it could be you? People think about getting wealthy all of the time, when only a small percentage actually does. But any of the masses could. Someone is going to start a business. Someone is going to make a great investment. Someone is going to begin the journey to great wealth. So why not let it be you? Someone is going to decide to improve their relationships. Someone

Life Is a Piece of Cake …when you focus on the good stuff! ~ Pam Grout, author of E-Squared

"Defenses are but foolish guardians of mad illusions."—A Course in Miracles I have four main intentions: peace of mind,  surety of purpose,  clear, unmistakable guidance and  unceasing joy .  I used to keep that last intention to myself. People tended to think it was foolhardy and not at all possible. “What?” they’d mock. “How can anybody be joyful 24/7?” What I now know is that any other goal is simply irresponsible. Our only function here on Planet Earth is to having a rollicking good time. I mean, we are meant to laugh and have fun and enjoy ourselves at every moment. And I refuse to feel guilty for proclaiming that. Recently, I’ve been getting emails from people wanting more tips on how to manifest, how to kick their natural, create-their-dreams skills into high gear. So, here are the three best techniques I can offer for letting go and letting your every intention happen: 1. Focus on the end result . Period. Do not give any air-time

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step

“Nothing moves until you move”, that is what Robin Sharma likes to say. Nothing happens until you do something. You are always – all ways – the first cause of whatever comes to you. Often we are reluctant to move towards our goals because we can see the beyond what we can see or evaluate with our five sense. And often base what we can achieve upon what others have done and what we may have done before. But we somehow someway have to be naive of what has been if we hope to achieve something spectacular in our lives. We must dare to be naive and make things happen. The great live out of their imagination and not their memories. Chained by what is certain you have forfeited freedom. We so frequently spend life on the safe harbour, too afraid to sail out into the sea of the unknown. However, to bring some relief t our days, and make them extraordinary, let us remember what Steve Jobs observed:  “Again, you cannot connect the dots of your life looking forward. You can only connect them look

"The reasonable man adapts himself to the world. The unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress in the world depends on the unreasonable man."~ George Bernard Shaw

It is reasonable for people to go in a direction where there is less resistance. This can be easily understood even further by thinking of human beings a electrical charges in the current circuit called the universe. It is a known physics fact that charges will always seek to pass through a conductor with less resistance than the one with more resistance. Not that there aren't charges that go through the more resistant conduct, just that the majority prefer the easier/common route. For years or since the begin of human experience, man has always encountered a fork in a road, and deciding which to take determined what sort of experience one would have through the journey called Life. "Two roads divulge in the road, and I took the road less travelled by and that has made all the difference". Robert Frost. Life is really fun if you can learn to deal with the uncertainty factor that's engraved at its core. However, because of this resistance or uncertainty th

In = Out

“Don’t lower your expectations to meet your performance. Raise your performance to meet your expectations. Expect the best of yourself and then do what is necessary to make it a reality.”~  Ralph Marston Just a quick and simple thought, if you want/expect the best in life, you have to do your best in life. You have to get good at life . It becomes a matter of reaping what you have sowed. You have to give your all if you want to get to a fulfilling life. That is why the road to extraordinary is never easy to travel, for you need to put out something extra than the ordinary to get back the extraordinary. The Law of Cause and Effect . You have to give most if not all of yourself to that which you want to accomplish and hope will be waiting for you down the line. As Seneca pointed out, “It is the rough roads that lead to the heights of greatness.” Ultimately the power to change and shape your experiences in life is governed by the choices you make. Having clarity of what you want or consid

THE WHY IN THE WHAT ~ By Humphrey Kubheka

I believe that inspiration is a source in a great life lived. Inspiration is the thing that moves one from a very dull, uninteresting and hopeless state of being. To an energised, clear minded and purposeful state of being. I know for one that if I were to keep pursuit of my goals and plans, a sense of inspiration needs to be present. And so as you set off to achieve, accomplish and to reach whatever objective or desired results, mostly it is with that sense of inspiration that you begin your respective endeavours. But as with many of us, while on our way pursuing our visions things somehow get to a dull, fussy and hopeless state. Even the very thing you set out to do seem quiet dull and pointless.  Your energy levels and drive all but dissipate. Your efforts and input seems to yield not much desired results and with that comes a lot of negative self talk like:” do I think I am really going to make it? Maybe my vision is just too lofty to be actually realized” and so forth. To the poin

THE MIND! ~ By Humphrey Kubheka

"The mind is given unto you, you are not given unto the mind!"  Someone deep once said. But I believe for most of us its the other way around. We've kind of let our mind go on producing, script writing and directing all kind of horrific genres playing and are free to be shocked about at any given time in between our ears.   There's the "Spiritual failure" program, a "Romantic Traumedy", the "family Dysfunction" program, the "Financial and bad credit breakdown" news at 1a.m. (for most insomniacs).  Most of these productions (brilliantly traumatising I might add) are a very creative seed of incidences that we have encountered and passively replay in our mind for shock value and kept in our psyche as defining moments in who we turned out to be and what we ought to expect out of our lives as we will know it. I was once in a short lived romantic encounter with someone I considered a catch. I felt lucky to have found that person ba
