“Nothing moves until you move”, that is what Robin Sharma likes to say. Nothing happens until you do something. You are always – all ways – the first cause of whatever comes to you. Often we are reluctant to move towards our goals because we can see the beyond what we can see or evaluate with our five sense. And often base what we can achieve upon what others have done and what we may have done before. But we somehow someway have to be naive of what has been if we hope to achieve something spectacular in our lives. We must dare to be naive and make things happen. The great live out of their imagination and not their memories.
Chained by what is certain you have forfeited freedom. We so frequently spend life on the safe harbour, too afraid to sail out into the sea of the unknown. However, to bring some relief t our days, and make them extraordinary, let us remember what Steve Jobs observed:
“Again, you cannot connect the dots of your life looking forward. You can only connect them looking backwards, so you have to trust the dots will somehow connect in your life. You have to trust in something; in your guts, life, karma, whatever because believing that the dots will connect down the road will give you the confidence to follow your heart, even when it leads you off the well-worn path, and that will make all the difference.
“Remembering that you are going to die is the best way to avoid the trap of thinking of you have something to lose. There is no reason not to follow your heart. And remember that your time is limited so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice and have courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow know what you truly want to become.”
