Do you see yourself as an enterprise?

Do you see yourself as an enterprise?
Ask any successful business tycoon or anyone who has achieved amazing success in any endeavour as to what is the secret, and they will tell you, the secret is the ability of seeing themselves as an enterprise, a corporation worthy of being attended to. They understand that their greatest asset is themselves, which may explain why sometimes business people may be seen as shrewd or selfish.. Its because they are committed to the investment of their number one product, themselves..

This business analysis I picked up in almost all the business books that I had  time to feast my "short-sighted" eyes on (I wear glasses).. Investing in your own self development is key to running a successful business such as yourself. This may be a strange way of viewing yourself, but take it from the wealthy. After all, it is what separates them from the many. If you want to really be successful in any endeavour, especially an endeavour as big as life, start focusing on your value in terms of personal development. Start investing on things that will improve the unlimited asset in your business and grow you worth exponentially, and that asset is you..
Often when people ask me, " what is the best thing you could possibly spend money on?" The answer is never hesitant. I suggest literature for my own self education. That is what I do. After all other essential have been covered, and I feel like I want to buy something that will last, I first turn my eyes on literature.. What kind? Any kind that will benefit both my mind and spirit. Robin Sharma once said in one of his vlogs (video blogs), that "the great invest in education while the rest invest in entertainment."
So if you really really want to achieve incredible success that will stand the test of times, adopt the mindset of an entrepreneur and start seeing yourself as the greatest asset you have in your own personal corporation. See yourself as a business, man.

THE TRUTH ABOUT POSITIVE THINKING

Positive thinking doesn’t work for most people because of one simple truth and that is – Thinking is a skill. And most people haven’t mastered The Art of Thinking. Just because you can inhale air in an out of your lungs doesn’t necessarily mean you know how to breath effectively, remember how as a  kid when the doctor instructed “breathe in” and you would actually make a whizzing sound when in haling because you wanted to indicated that they are breathing, because you clearly knew there was more to it.  So you see, it actually is a skill. I was inspired to write this article tone because of a post someone had forwarded to me. It said… “…Positive thinking is offered up in the U.S. as a cure for cancer, a path to untold riches, and a sure-fire way to engineer your own success. Indeed believing that success depends upon one’s attitude is far preferable to Americans than recognizing that their success is the outcome of the tilted scales of race, class, and gender. As Eh...

A MAN CAN CHOOSE TO BE ANYTHING

"A man can choose to be anything. He can partake in, be a part of anything that he wants to. He can become a beast, he can become a god. He can do anything." This thought keeps reappearing in all the writings of man. It states that we become what we choose to become whether we realise it or not. This is so true because as I grow older, I notice just how broad my being is. BEING : the continuous movement of becoming!! As a high school pupil I only saw myself as a math and science student whose aim was to be a master of science and nothing more. And then in  first year varsity I noticed my perception   grew   from a science student to one whose aim was to be a respectable chemical engineering professional, then suddenly I noticed that not only do I love science, but I have a proclivity for some business,  philosophy and even writing who knew!! And then that grew to psychology, which grew to  philosophy and spirituality and all of this my high-school-year old...

Generation eXcellence

I was reading some wonderful notes from Robin Sharma's Little Black Book of Stunning Success ( http://www.robinsharma.com/leadership-best ) and a thought crossed my mind: have we settled for mediocrity in our society?  Have we  allowed ourselves to tolerate mediocrity in our lives, because the truth is we interact with the aspects of the world which match our own standards. We see the world not as it is but as we are . How often do we offer less than our best to the quality of relationships with ourselves and things.? Are we allowing the quality of our lives be compromised due to what everybody else is doing? This is even evident  to how we  treat nature. The care with which we have for our natural environment is something of grave concern, and many defend this mediocre behaviour with "everybody else is doing it." and the worst one yet, "We are creating jobs for others"  Have we accepted me...
